Inkspirations Inspiration Challenge #13

I've finally decided to play along with a card challenge and the one I've chosen is Makeesha Byl's Inkspirations Inspiration Challenge #13. Here's the inspiration picture:


And here's my card!



I've used one of my favourite sets, Eastern Blooms, and one that my brother brought me from Canada called Heard From the Heart. I also got to play with two of my favourite inks - Chocolate Chip and Riding Hood Red. And I did one of my standard tricks with using two different heights of mounting foam to raise the embellishment flowers. It always looks cute.


The faux bow is really easy and effective too.

Card Stock - Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla
Designer Series Paper - Washington Apple
Stamps - Eastern Blooms, Heard From the Heart
Inks - Chocolate Chip, Riding Hood Red
Ribbon - Chocolate Chip

    Beautiful card Dan! I love the red flowers and the idea of using 2 different heights of foam. Will have to try that. Chocolate Chip ribbon is delicious.

    That's a lovely card. I got 'heard form the Heart' too, isn't it a lovely set? Love the faux bow, must have a go of that.
