Baroque Love

I have many favourite Stampin' Up! stamp sets, but Baroque Motifs is an absolute favourite.  Which is why I was surprised to discover that I don't have photos of any other Baroque cards I've made!  I made this one at a scrapbooking day yesterday.  I wanted to play around with this colour combination - I've been playing with it in my head since I saw my good friend Dimity use it with Circle Circus.  Here's my card!

I've used Confetti White card stock for a couple of reasons.  It's a great solid card stock and great for sturdy card bases, but most importantly for this card, it gives a vintage look to stamped images.  So the images aren't ever as crisp as they are on Whisper White, but the ink takes on completely different qualities.  Perfect for what I wanted with this card.

As you can see with the next photo, I've stamped a matching image inside the card.  I think this kind of touch can really add to the overall effect of a card.

I hope you like my card - as always, I'd love to hear your feedback.  :-)

Materials:
Cardstock - Confetti White, Rose Red, Chocolate Chip
Stamp Set - Baroque Motifs
Inks - Rose Red, Pink Pirouette, So Saffron, Mellow Moss
