We Have A Slab!

Many of you know that we're building a house in Tasmania, and I've been posting little updates along the way.  We're now the proud owners of two slabs!  lol  Because our house is being built on a slope, there's one concrete slab for the downstairs area (which is only half a downstairs anyway), and another concrete slab for the garage.  The rest flooring base will be timber and steel.


This is the garage at the front of the house.


And this is the downstairs area.  This photo is looking straight at the rumpus room from the backyard.


And the section beyond the rumpus room is our guest bedroom.


Brian tells me that looking at the size of the house at the moment is deceptive - I hope so, because it looks a little small to me right now!!

    So far we're just the proud owners of a signed agreement to build a house in a rough price range on a piece of land. We don't even own the land! Nice to see yours moving forwards. :)
