Wow, I can't believe we're up to our 31st challenge at Just Add Ink! That's incredible! Thankyou to everyone who participates, who visits our blogs and especially those who leave me and the DT such lovely and uplifting comments! I truly treasure them.
This week's challenge is a colour challenge. So with the colours decided, and the stamp set HAD to be my current favourite - Friends Never Fade (yep, I got it out again!), all I had to work on was the layout. So here it is...
So, what do you think? The background was time consuming, but it's one of my favourite backgrounds to do - repetition using my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig. The double bow is quite easy to do. I don't do mine in exactly the same way, but check out this tutorial by Ilina Crouse to see how you can do it.
And here's the colour challenge palette:
Make sure you visit Just Add Ink to see the fabulous Design Team work!

Stamp sets - Friends Never Fade, Occasional Quotes (level 3 hostess set)
Cardstock - Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Naturals Ivory

I just love this colour combo! Danielle, your bow is just perfect! I love the subtle sentiment too
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, I love that perfect bow.
ReplyDeleteRach:)
I love this background and the pop of the red flower! What a pretty bow!
ReplyDeleteTotally yummy! Love the colours, and the stamps, and the bow. Perfection!
ReplyDeleteGreat card Danielle, love the double bow. I think I am going to have to try that myself soon. It was also great to meet you in person yesterday and of course your beautiful daughter Olivia.
ReplyDeleteI just love this card. Thanks for link the ribbon tutorial. Unfortunately, I'll never be able to do that. It will be a cold day in hell before my other half lets me wrap ribbon around his fingers so I can make a bow, LOL!
ReplyDeleteThis is another absolute beauty with the gorgeous double ribbon bow!
ReplyDeleteYour card is so beautiful, thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteBeen meaning to get here and tell you how great your card is. I just love what you have done with this new stamp set. I am kicking myself that I didn't get it now!
