You Make Me Smile - Curtain Call Guest Designer!

I was absolutely blown away when Stacey asked me to be a Guest Designer for the January Curtain Call Challenges!  Naturally, I said yes!!  Then, of course, I started to get nervous.  I hope I can live up to the brilliant work of the Design Team!  Here's this week's challenge:


It's a doozy, isn't it?  Here's what I came up with...


My plan was to sponge the background behind the cat, but then I realised I don't have Bashful Blue in an inkpad!  Oops!  So I watercoloured it instead.

Stamp sets - TSG - Cattitude, PTI - Signature Greetings
Cardstock - White Cambric Linen, To The Nines SU DSP, Watercolour paper
Inks - Versamark, Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke
Accessories - Black embossing powder, heat tool, Aqua painter, Chocolate Chip ribbon, dimensionals, sponges

    This card is awesome! I love how you black emboss when water-colouring! The cat is very cute and the greeting fits perfectly!

    I see this card and I thought, "Wouldn't it be cool if I opened it up and it had a continuation to that phrase" --> "You make me smile... - if only you weren't so catty!"

    Now that it's in print, I think it sounds so lame :) But thought I'd share!
