Playing With My New Camera

Wow, I can't believe it's been a week since I posted last!  I do have some crafty posts coming up, but first I wanted to share what I've been doing over the past couple of days.

It's my birthday next week and I'm so excited about getting a new camera!  I've wanted a digital SLR for ages and there was no way I was going to wait till my actual birthday to play with it!  I got a Canon EOS 1100D.  Reviews that I've read on it say it's an entry level DSLR, but it looks pretty darn good to me!  I'm booked in to do Oh Shoot! Beginning Digital SLR Photography starting on September 5th and I can't wait!  I've always liked to play with photography, but I'm really looking forward to doing a full course.  :-)

So I thought I'd share a couple of photos that I took of Olivia yesterday.  I'm so, so, SO impressed with my camera. I'm really happy with these 2 photos straight out of the camera (SOOC), but of course I played with a few photoshop actions too.  So this is a photo heavy post... I'll forgive you if you don't share my excitement.  ;-)
