Hi! I got a lovely email this week asking how I tied the bow for this card that I did for Christmas last year. I've been asked about tying bows a few times before, so I thought it was about time I showed how I do it!
I used the May Arts 1.5" Black/Ivory Striped Grosgrain Ribbon from The Ribbon Carousel for this video. :-)
This tutorial will also appear on the Ribbon Carousel Blog - make sure you visit to check out the other fabulous tutorials!

Fantastic tutorial Danielle... thank you :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful tutorial! TFS =)
ReplyDeleteGreat tutorial - good job Danielle! Frayed ribbon is also a pet hate of mine and I do exactly what you do to fix it!
ReplyDeleteA flame! Who would have thunk it! Great tutorial! My daughter said she loves your accent! :)
ReplyDeleteOh this is wonderful...but the flame? I wish I hadn't seen that - there goes the neighborhood! Though I am suddenly happy that my dad hard wired smoke detectors in EVERY room of this house.
ReplyDeleteThis ribbon is gorgeous! Fabulous tutorial Danielle!
ReplyDeleteHave you ever tried 'fray stop', I've always wondered if it works or not? Sometimes I've used glossy accents on the edges, but never thought to use a flame, thanks for the tip!
