A few months back I made this card for the Ribbon Carousel. I had lots of comments about the flower, so I thought I'd do a little tutorial to show you how I made it. It's very easy. :-)
Hi Kathy! I found that when I use a lot of ribbon for a dense flower like this one, I need to add a little liquid glue underneath the very centre and a few random dots under some gathers. I think the gathers mean that there's less actual surface area in contact with the gluber. Hope that helps! :-)
LOVE your flower, Danielle - and great tutorial! It does help to secure a heavier ribbon with some glue or helper glue dots because the Glubers aren't a deep adhesive you can 'push' down into. Thanks for sharing - your card is beautiful!!!
Thanks for sharing another awesome video DD. Love it.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to hear your voice!! xx
ReplyDeletewhat a pretty card...I love that flower..
ReplyDeleteLove your flower! I made one with a gluber, but it didn't stick very well and came apart! I was a little disappointed....any tips on what I did wrong?

DeleteAnother fun tutorial... I've seen the glubers but not ventured there yet, maybe I should give it a try! Thanks for the inspiration!
