Hello!  It's been a little while since I've posted, things have been a little rough here lately and I haven't felt very inspired.  But last night I sat down and watercoloured the image for this card, and I feel better for it.  Watercolouring is always so therapeutic for me.  :-)

Say It With... A Stamped Background - AC070

Hello, and welcome to my post for this week's AnnaBelle Stamps Challenge - Say It With A Stamped Background!  I've made an ultra simple card using Fanciful Flowers to Emboss Resist and some of my favourite Distress Inks sponged over the top.

And finished off with a White Satin bow.  :-)

Little Red Car

Hello!  I have a card to share with you using The Alley Way Stamps Priceless Joy set - how cute is that little car?!  I watercoloured it with Distress Inks and Stains and then applied some Glossy Accents over the red for a shiny finish.  :-)

I clear embossed the same image repeatedly on some Naturals Ivory card stock for the panel behind the card, I think it's a cute effect.

And these are the challenges that inspired it!

RCC49 Color-a-licious with Totally Stampalicious

Hello!  This week’s challenge at the Ribbon Carousel is to get colourful with our sponsor Totally Stampalicous!     

I've used the gorgeous Present Scarlette from Totally Stampalicous, and coloured her with Prismacolor Pencils.  I teamed her up with some Dilly Dally 6 x 6 Paper and one of my favourite ribbons, 5/8" Teal Satin Grosgrain Double Band Ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel.

Enjoy Today - ISSC11

It's sketch time again with iSpy Sketches!  I'm just going to get straight into sharing my card...

I adore this stamp!  It's called Enjoy Today Plain Jane by Verve Stamps, and I watercoloured it using Distress Inks and Stains.

Say It In... Black - AC069

Hello!  I'm back with another AnnaBelle Stamps Challenge post.  The theme this week is to Say It In... Black, because of course today is Friday 13th.  I love using black in card making, it can look so elegant.  Of course, photographing dark cards can be tricky, so I'm pretty pleased with how this one turned out!

I used Backgrounds By Design 2 to create the background panel in Versamark and then clear embossed it.  I black embossed the sentiment from Fanciful Flowers on some vellum, and finished it off with some .8mm Black Hemp Twine.
