Give Thanks - Garden Silhouettes

Hello!  If you're in Australia, I hope you're surviving the heatwave!  It was 41ยบ C today in Hobart, which is a rarity down here, so I know the rest of the country were feeling it!

We're doing something a little different at AnnaBelle Stamps this year.  Our challenges now run for 2 weeks, and the alternate week will be a "Friday Feature" where we choose a new set or AnnaBelle product to showcase.  Sound good?  Today we're featuring Garden Silhouettes, designed by Andrea Hayes.  This set has so many sweet silhouettes in it, but as usual, my favourite part is the sentiments!  I love the combination of fonts!

I black embossed the image and sentiment, then used Mask It to create a mask for the sun.  I used four different Distress Inks to colour it.  LOVE how they blend!

Here's a look at the full set -

I'm also entering this into the Cas-ual Friday Challenge - CFC84: Create a Clean And Simple Thank You card:

Head to the AnnaBelle Stamps blog to see the gorgeous DT work, and don't forget you have another week to enter the current AnnaBelle Stamps Challenge!

  1. Danielle, this card is absolutely gorgeous, and this stamp set has just leapt to the top of my wishlist. Beautiful!

41 degrees in Hobart???? Wah! Here in Brisbane, I think it was about a comfortable (if humid) 32 degrees. I think the country just turned upside down!

  4. I'm with Michelle, it's not been too hot here today, although I wouldn't want to be working out in it lol, sounds like the south is boiling! Another great card Danielle, this is definitely a technique that you are a master at and something I need to try more often. Thanks for the inspiration!
